Role Description The stage PFE role at Janoub Innovations Group is a full-time, on-site internship based in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, Morocco. The intern will collaborate with engineering and product teams to contribute to the design, development, and testing of software or hardware solutions, depending on project assignment. Daily activities may include gathering requirements, conducting technical research, implementing and documenting features, and assisting with prototyping or integration tasks in the FabLab and IoT environment. The role also involves supporting project reporting, preparing technical documentation or presentations, and participating in internal reviews to ensure quality and alignment with client needs. The intern will be encouraged to propose ideas, learn from cross-functional experts, and apply academic knowledge to real-world technical and business challenges. Qualifications • Strong foundational skills in software engineering or related fields (such as programming, algorithms, and data structures) relevant to a final-year project internship. • Interest or coursework in Artificial Intelligence, IoT, embedded systems, or digital product development, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly. • Capability to conduct structured technical research, analyze requirements, and produce clear documentation, reports, or presentations in a professional format. • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and contribute positively to internal and client-facing discussions. • Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning and taking initiative in project tasks. • Enrollment in a relevant engineering, computer science, or technical degree program, ideally at the final-year project stage (PFE), with eligibility for a full-time on-site internship. • Good written and spoken communication skills in French and/or English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset. • Interest in working in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, and ability to be present on site for the duration of the internship.
